Apples, Pumpkins, and All things FALL in NEO

It’s officially Fall in Greater Cleveland, which means apple orchards and pumpkin patches are in full swing. Whether you love to pick apples, decorate with pumpkins, or you’re just doing it all for the Instagram, here are some of the best spots in the region to celebrate the season throughout Northeast Ohio.

Patterson Fruit Farm

Patterson Fruit Farm in Chesterland offers two locations for fall food and fun. You can pick your own apples; enjoy pony rides, pumpkin painting, and hay bale play areas at the Fun Fest; and eat an apple fritter as big as your head!

Mulberry Corners Pumpkin Patch

Mulberry Corners Pumpkin Patch in Chesterland is open daily, which means that you can still have fun while avoiding some of the weekend crowds. You can buy everything you need for your own fall display at home, from pumpkins to gourds to corn stalks. There is also a corn maze, hay bales, friendly goats, and face painting and balloon animals (weekends only for these.)

Mapleside Farms

With 122 acres and over 4,000 apple trees, Mapleside Farms in Brunswick offers apple picking; hayrides; cider and caramel apples and bakery; and fun for kids and adults. Their popular Wine Your Way Out (think: drinking your way through a corn maze) and Pumpkin Village (think: lots of fun for your kiddos) make Mapleside Farms the place to be on fall weekends!

Pickering Hill Farms

Pickering Hill Farms in Avon bills itself as a little bit of country in the city. They have a market that is open daily with lots of homegrown produce, as well as mums, pumpkins, and more decorative items. Every weekend, you can enjoy wagon hayrides and corn mazes as well.

Brasee’s Corn Maze

Brasee’s Corn Maze in Wellington loves fall as much as you do and wants you to have lots of seasonal fun in their corn maze and pumpkin patch, along with a bounce house, petting zoo, and straw slide. Cuddle up with hot chocolate or hot cider by one of their four fire rings. Brasee’s also offers a unique attraction: a mechanical pumpkin/corn cob (think: mechanical bull gone fall)!

Heavenly Hill Farm

Heavenly Hill Farm in North Royalton offers all the traditional fall fun in one location. You can pick apples, take a hayride, pick out a pumpkin, or take home some of their homemade pies or locally-sourced honey.

Nickajack Farms

Nickajack Farms in North Lawrence offers a gigantic Fall Festival that is open every day. With everything from pick-your-own pumpkins to a petting zoo to a corn cannon to pony rides to gourd golf, there is an activity for every age and interest.
