Arts + Culture

From imaginative art to the illustrious sounds of the symphony to the excitement of Broadway, Northeast Ohio has it all.

Begin your journey at University Circle in Cleveland—the most concentrated square mile of art, cultural, education and health institutions in the nation. There, you’ll find institutions like the world-renowned Cleveland Orchestra, the Cleveland Botanical Gardens, the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Western Reserve Historical Society, the Cleveland Institute of Music and the Cleveland Museum of Natural History.

Then head just a few blocks west to PlayhouseSquare—the second largest performing arts center in the country—and home to a variety of Broadway shows, as well as an array of comedy, opera, ballet and other theatrical performances.

And that’s not all. Our region’s thriving cultural scene also includes destinations such as the Akron Art Museum, Butler Institute of American Art, the Canton Symphony Orchestra and many more.
