This 10-year $1.6 billion initiative is designed to build a world-class research capacity, support early stage capital formation and new product development and finance advanced manufacturing technologies to help existing industries improve productivity. Combined with additional federal and private sector support, the total investment in Ohio’s Third Frontier Project could reach more than $6 billion.

Cleveland Plus is also playing a major role in advanced energy investment. Both private and public enterprises are working in concert to provide an influx of capital into the industry’s growth.
